Bookshelves can be hard to make look organised or well-designed, and oftentimes become a depository of random collections of books and objects.
Recently when I was visiting a friend of mine Jen, I commented on how beautiful her bookshelves looked, and she gave me a great idea for organising the books by colour. Take a look:
With hard-back books, I prefer to remove the dust jackets to cut down on colour and clutter, yet most of her books are soft-backs, which can look messy when randomly placed on a shelf. With the books organised by colour, the shelves look vibrant and graphic, plus well organised! Give it a try sometime!
